How Style Scalpel handles submitted text, uploaded documents and temporary reports.
Document processing
Style Scalpel processes submitted TXT, DOCX, and PDF content through the detector backend for analysis. Submitted documents are not used to train the model.
Temporary reports
Generated reports are held in memory for the current server process. Avoid uploading confidential, sensitive, legally protected, or personally identifying documents unless you understand the risks of using a web-based analysis tool.
Intended use
Style Scalpel is intended for research and educational use. Detection results are analytical evidence, not proof of authorship.
